We listened to your feedback and learned that people want more promotion the top social sites:  Facebook, Twitter, Google+.   So, our 1st step in accomplishing this is a new Facebook Likes Campaigns service.

You’ll see a new “Campaigns” main menu item:

    Campaigns-Facebook-Likes-menu-item

Clicking “Campaigns” > “Facebook Likes” takes you to this page:

    Facebook-Likes-Campaigns-page

    Here’s how it works:

    1. Browse or search for the URL you want Likes for.  It can be any URL, not just a Facebook Page.  If you can’t find the URL, it likely means you haven’t bookmarked it yet.
    2. Click “Create Campaign” next to the URL.

You’ll then be taken to this page:

    Setup-Facebook-Likes-Campaign-page

    • Make sure the URL at the top is correct, if not, click “Choose a different URL” and it’ll take you back to the 1st page
    • Use either the drop-down menu or slider on the left to select the # of Likes you want to order:
      • 10
      • 50
      • 100
      • 1.000
      • 5,000
      • 10,000
    • If you have enough credits in your account, just click the “Lets Get Some Likes!” button to start the campaign.  If you don’t, you’ll see a “Buy Credits” button, that takes you to the Instant Credits page, where you can get more.

    Important Stuff

    Typical delivery rates are:

    • <1,000 Likes:  2 days
    • 1,000+ Likes:  5 days
    • 10,000 Likes:  7 days

If “Your Bookmark is Submitted to the Services” is checked on your Notifications page, you should receive an email when your campaign is complete.

Your complete Facebook Likes Campaign History is always available at History > Facebook Likes Campaigns

Hope everyone enjoys this new service!

    For this latest release, we’ve:

    • Rolled out beta testing for a new Facebook Likes Campaigns service
    • Fixed a bug related to Reseller accounts and their deleted sub-accounts
    • Improved our logging of credit accounting, so our support staff are better informed as to why/when/how users gained or lost credits
    • Added two new social media services (you can see the complete list on the home page)

And of course we’re hard at work on SocialAdr 3.0, we’ve been hiring PHP developers to work specifically on this project, so if you know of anyone awesome, send ’em our way! :)

For this latest release, we’ve done the following:

    • For 3rd party Facebook Likes, when we don’t know how many friends the liking user has, we’ll be charging 6 credits (down from 10).  We calculated that the average credits charged system-wide is 6.3, so we’ve rounded this down.
    • Added two new social media sites (you can view the entire list at SocialAdr.com)
    • Several bug fixes and enhancements to the social media connectors
    • Setup Wizard – Add Bookmark page updated to handle spintax {|}

For this latest update, we’ve rolled out integrations to 3rd party services for Facebook Likes.  When we’re unable to determine how many friends a user has, you’ll just be charged 10 credits per Like (similar to how Google+1 works).

We’ve also updated the spintax {|} function to be more random, as there were cases where if the same block of text was reused within a Title or Description, it would generate the same spintax iteration.

    • Added email notification for when a user receives a Google +1
    • Added “Friends” count to Facebook Likes Received History page
    • Added “Followers” count to Tweets Received History page
    • Bug fix to handle special characters in Google +1 and Facebook URLs; was preventing certain cases from earning credits for those clicks
    • Added ability for Resellers to disable/enable Twitter, look Google +1, clinic and Facebook for sub-accounts
    • Bug fix to handle special cases where upper case characters are used in bookmark URLs, would throw an error when bookmark was edited
