We’ve just rolled up some performance enhancements to the “Add Bookmark” page (it was taking more than a couple seconds to save changes).
Also, the form data is now re-displayed when a validation error occurs. A few users complained that they spent a long time writing up bookmark content, then after attempting to save it they received a validation error and lost everything they typed (typically in the description). This won’t happen anymore! Yay.

I love the SocialAdr concept. Out of interest, do you know how many of the 19 bookmarking sites that are supported provide Dofollow links?
Kane 11:40 pm on October 18, 2010 Permalink
Hi Simon, thanks! Last we checked about 2/3 of them are dofollow.

Hi Kane, thanks. So a major improvement for me would be if there were more sites supported that had dofollow links.
Kane 3:02 pm on October 19, 2010 Permalink
Yes, agreed, and we’re in the midst of adding more dofollows. Thanks for your feedback.

So far I like your site but don’t you think it would be better to spin the tags also. It probably leaves a foot print, if not now, it could very well be a problem later.

@Gene – we actually take a random subset of the tags, and rotate the order, each time a bookmark is shared, so this is similar to spinning. We wanted to make it easier, so users don’t have to do anything.

Hi Kane when is there going to be a way to group bookmarks by domain or, have a search facility? It costs a lot of time sorting through 15 screens of data each time I want to edit. This must be a long overdue feature.

@Mike – yes, the “My Bookmarks” page is indeed something we plan on revamping, no ETA yet though. Sorry for its not-so user-friendliness!

@Kane Thanks for the reply. Great news that it’s coming. Shame no ETA I need it badly – would make a great Xmas present!
